A rare medical case of shedding bloody tears three times a day is what this young American lad - Calvino Inman is suffering. This phenomenon has raved the medicine industry and even doctors won't give him a good explanation about his condition. Inman has been going through this predicament for two years and until now no treatment is viable.

10 Odd Pineapple Facts

I love pineapple. Not just because it is loaded with vitamins and minerals or it is a very good antioxidant, but it really tastes good. I never did see it as an odd fruit until I read this 10 strange facts about it...

1. There are a lot of foods that affect the taste of your seminal or vaginal fluids, but pineapple is one of the strongest. Eating a lot of pineapple makes you taste sweeter, and less ‘fishy’.

2. When you cut up a pineapple at home, you normally chuck the skin, core and ends in the bin. The pineapple canning industry doesn’t though, these bits are used for making alcohol, vinegar and animal feed.

3. Each pineapple plant only produces just one pineapple per year.

4. Unripe pineapples don’t just taste vile, but can actually be quite poisonous. Eating it causes serious throat irritation and it has a strong laxative effect.

5. Pineapples grow slowly, and can take up to two years to reach full size, so we pick and eat them when they are much smaller, but if they are left to their own devices they can reach up to 9kg (20lbs).

6. If you want to speed up the ripening of a pineapple, so that you can eat it faster, then you can do it by standing it upside down (on the leafy end).

7. Traditionally pineapple juice was used as a diuretic and to induce labour.

8. The Bromelain enzyme in pineapples breaks down proteins. This means that you can use pineapple or pineapple juice as a meat tenderiser.

9. The same Bromelain enzyme means that you can’t put fresh pineapple in jelly, because it breaks down the gelatine. You can stop this from happening by boiling the chunks of pineapple in their juice or in water for a few minutes, or you can use canned pineapple.

10. In case you find yourself on a sailing trip in the tropics without any Ajax, you might like to know that pineapple juice mixed with sand is very good for cleaning boat decks and machete blades.

Santa Claus Collection - Guinnes World Record Holder

25,189-piece Santa collection by a Canadian teacher, Jean-Guy Laquerre has earned him a Guinnes World Record as the most collection of St. Nick memorabilia.

This guy really loves collecting everything and anything about Santa Claus; from postcards and brooches to toys and posters.

I wonder if there are St. Nick underwears included in his collection too? hmmmm... lol

Crowd Control - We Need It!

I really hate crowds! I must be Enochlophobic. Maybe this is the reason why I don't go to watch huge concerts or try my luck panic buying with several other customers whenever there’s a big sale on my favorite store. I just don't feel safe and I fear the possibility of stampede. I may be exaggerated but that’s the way I see it.

You might have heard about the worst and catastrophic football tragedies that killed people because of the uncontrollable crowd. I just thought that if there is some sort of crowd control authorities present at that time, somehow, the tragedy have been prevented. But of course, accidents are accident – it cannot be foreseen.

Good thing that today, there are lots of good and reliable crowd control companies that you can count on. They offer tactics that are aimed to prevent outbreak of disorder as well as possible riot. Materials such as stanchions which are upright bars or post that provides sturdy support are supplied.

Other great safety materials are barricades and velvet rope which provide an upscale means of crowd control.

So with the availability of crowd control services today, the risk of crowd-related accidents is greatly minimized.
